Learn about the skills and abilities we seek at dbt Labs!
I have never seen this type of session before at a conference and think that it is especially helpful for those that are #opentowork right now! This is why it gets its own review 🤓
Meghan Colón and Rob Conklin introduce us to the various teams at dbt Labs. Rob even kicked off the session by sharing a pleasing poem (I wish I captured his art, maybe Rob will share in the comments).
Good luck to all those looking for their next journey with data!!

Extra Tips for Interviewing:
How to Stand Out as a Candidate
Be your authentic self - be human
dbt skills are a plus, not a must have
Do not be afraid to say 'I don't know'
Lean into your strengths, show off your metrics
It is ok if you do not have all of the experience, show that you are interested and how you are actively working on the areas that you lack. There is always something to learn!
My favorite takeaways
dbt has a passion for people
dbt is a remote-first company (before remote work was cool)
Your thoughts, experience, and time are respected!
