Have you ever had an idea for something that you wanted to do, something new that you wanted to try. How did that make you feel? If you are like me, that probably made you a bit anxious.
You might have thoughts like “What if I am not good at it” or “What if I mess up” or even worse “What if I completely bomb and fail”. You also might think that this is not the right time, or that you need to accomplish something before you can even attempt to try to do that new thing. Well guess what...
You are not going to accomplish anything if you don’t start somewhere.
Don’t think that you have to have all your ducks in a row before starting anything 🦆🦆🦆
That is not realistic and hardly achievable. But, this was my previous mindset 🧠
I thought to myself things like, “I need to wait until I have a following before I start a blog”. Well that was just silly. How did I expect to get a following 🤔 it isn’t just going to fall out of the sky.

Productivity is not all about doing everything all at once. There is way too much out there to do, to learn, to absorb, to obtain, etc. Think of doing things in small chunks. If you can accomplish one small task, that is at least accomplishing something 📃✔
👶🏻Baby steps are still steps that move you in a direction
And don’t get me started on “but what if I am not moving in the right direction?”. That is a whole other topic.
Do you know how many times I get lost, physically and mentally, on a daily basis? Have you ever walked confidently into a room and immediately forget why 🙋🏻♀️
What you do next is key 🔑
Be agile, learn from your mistakes, move forward. Step out of your comfort zone. It is more about the journey than the destination. And don’t forget to smell the roses along the way 🌹
